Our gins and genevers are still made the same way as our founder Simon Rutte did in 1872, from the small back room in our distillery in Dordrecht: with love, and by hand.

Tastings & workshops
Experiencing Rutte's gins and genevers? You can in our tasting room! During a visit to Rutte you will learn about the rich history of the distillery. You will get an extensive explanation on how the special beverages are produced, which herbs and/or fruits are used and you can take a look at the stills in the distilleries and the oak barrels in the maturing area.
We organize various activities in The Tasting Room, such as tastings, or how about a gin making workshop?
