Koornwyn
A traditional grain distillate, distilled with juniper berries and other characteristic Rutte botanicals. Rutte has been distilling Koornwyn since it first settled in Dordrecht in 1872, still in the traditional way. Koornwyn is an intense, yet subtle grain distillate, slightly matures in oak barrels.

Rutte is present at Netherlands most posh event, the National Herring Party, where top government officials and business people eat the first raw herring of summer every year. Rutte Koornwyn compliments the raw herring perfectly, creating a truly Dutch tradition.
How to Drink
Next to a Dutch raw herring of course! Temperature: Many people like to drink the Koornwyn ice cold. We understand: the fogged glass, the viscous liquid. However, you can taste a Young Rutte better if you drink it at room temperature. The choice is yours!
